Biggest DR withOUT rubbing

I run a 275/50/15 on a 15x8 weld with 5.5 bs. I had to lightly massage the inner fenders :p BUT....they fit. You could run a 255/50/16 maybe on the ponies or get a set of 15's for the track and throw them on some 10 holes like a 235/60. Good luck.
mike.

I have the 255/50/16 BFG DR's, and they generally do not rub unless I hit a bump while cornering pretty hard. These tires are pretty well unmatched in terms of overall dry traction, but do wear out in a relatively short amount of time. I'd suggest Nittos for a car you put a lot of miles on.

My cars quad shocks were removed before I bought it. I haven't run Nittos before, but unless your car will only see track duty, there's no reason to not consider running them. I don't think they give up THAT much to the BFG's. The general consensus seems to be that the nittos last about 15,000 miles and the BFG's............not half of that. Like I said before, if you don't put many miles on your car go with the BFG's. One thing about DR's that you should keep in mind is that although they are DOT approved for street use, I don't like to be on the freeway when rain starts falling if you catch my drift.
