I agree black wheels can be hard to pull off but on certain cars they look great. I am kinda partial to mine.

Saleens all the way. Id go with a gunmetal or chrome instead of the black though.

Black Saleen would look pretty sweet on a red, possibly with black striping.

An alternative is the Black with silver ring. It seperates the tires, so it gives it a nice balance. Foose makes a nice set up of those (but they're expensiv-o).

I bought Chrome saleens and then sold em a week later.....I was then going to go black or black chrome(which looks nice too) but landed on these hypercoated and couldn't be happier....Fellow stangers are always coming up to me, saying they have seen the hypercoated on the net but never seen em in person. Everyone likes them and best part is that you won't find them on lots of other cars...easy to keep clean and show brake dust easily either!


sorry for the crappy pics, I don't have any in the sun so you can't see the sheen...I guess they would have what I would say is a muted chrome appearance.. you can see a little shine in the last one...I'm planning on taking some pics tomorrow after I wash her up nice..I'm going to post up if you'd like to see em!

i have chrome saleens on my laser red GT and i get people telling me all the time nice car, and nice rims. Chrome IMO FTW

......that looks pretty damn good IMO.... i have black rims with a silver lip and they only really look good on my yellow stang when theyre clean and the tires have been shined up if you can pull off keeping your car relatively clean, i think black saleens would look pretty s1ck, if not then, then go for chrome or machined

I'm in the process of de-uglying (is that a word?) my Mustang. I have a laser red 2001 GT, and I'm trying to decide whether to go with black '03 cobra wheels or black saleen wheels.

What are your thoughts? Post pics if you have 'em!
