blower cams on a car that dont have blower.

It's practical now because he'll still benefit from the cams, and he will also not have to worry about tearing the heads down again when he does get the blower. Makes sense to me.
the reason I said not the most practical route is with the stock block, 400-425 whp is the limit on average. The blower itself will get you there with out heads and cams. If you have heads and cams, throw on a blower and internal damage occurs, there is a good chance that heads will be damaged as well. When he puts in his built motor way down the road, the heads will have to come off also. I just think it would be wise to get the built motor before the blower. Everybody does what they want, its no big deal.
The heads and blower cams will be fine with out the blower as stated a few times previously.

I dont think a blower running 8-12 psi on stock heads is gonna net you 400-425 RWHP - more like 350-380 max. I know the heads will have to come off with forged internals but if it's gonna be years down the line, obviously he doesn't have the money to get the whole package now - he can benefit from the cams/heads now, as opposed to a forged engine where he will get no additional HP unless he raises the compression, out of his current setup. If money were no issue forged internals would be the first thing always.

thanks guys you all helped alot... the built engine will be my next large investment after the heads and cams. down the road som time though. blower will be last. :nice:

heads, cams, then blower, and still on stock internals?
might want to keep saving money.
I was thinkn the same thing car would run good with the charger on stock heads and cam ,anyhow if you goin all out on heads and cam internals a must..........
