I don't think I'd have enough clearance for stud mount rockers.Stock efi covers work great.

Sparky, I will tell you from experience that I should have listened to the experts here and gone with a Trick Flow Box R Series intake TFS-51511008 (see photo) from the start. I thought it would be too big and instead went with the R Series intake TFS-51511005. I regret that decision and will be upgrading to the Box R Series in the future.I have a few used intakes locally for sale near me. Need opinions on which would be best for my setup. There's a Trickflow R with 90mm opening, a Trickflow Street burner and an older Edelbrock Performer. Car will be mostly street driven with some 1/8th mile track weekends and I plan to keep the boost around 8-10psi. Want to keep good street manners, but have some fun at the track too.
Probably just do black or Ford blue and maybe highlight the lettering somehow. Nothing to crazy. They fit great,I love the slant look.
And no Asian silliness please.
Probably not. I have a buddy who's trying to talk me into something that flows better as long as I'm this far into it, so peer pressure has me second guessing myself. I do like the old school look of the Cobra. But if I can find the right deal on something better.....Is the Cobra too small for your setup? Even on the street?

Just for info... ThatS an extremely old test, like 3 different retooling of the long r runner intake since...

It's the only one I saw with those two intakes.![]()
Won't find much on revisions from most companies, there advertising and marketing sucks for stuff like that. but that's an old, really old first gen R egr upper with the 2 bolt bosses running threw the throat, the newer non egr ones are a ton better.
Completely redesigned the upper, throat, port taper and floor of it vs that old casting. New ones have the bolt on emblem and only 1 bolt running threw the throat area. So, larger throttle body and neck?
Is that the turbo 363 '93 listed in your profile? What size throttle body?Very happy that I chose the Box-R for my combo. Great street manners. Tough to fit under the Heat Extractor hood. It fit nicely, with solid drop mounts, under the 2.5" Kaenen.
