Progress Thread BluePrint 347 long block engine swap

I have a few used intakes locally for sale near me. Need opinions on which would be best for my setup. There's a Trickflow R with 90mm opening, a Trickflow Street burner and an older Edelbrock Performer. Car will be mostly street driven with some 1/8th mile track weekends and I plan to keep the boost around 8-10psi. Want to keep good street manners, but have some fun at the track too.

Sparky, I will tell you from experience that I should have listened to the experts here and gone with a Trick Flow Box R Series intake TFS-51511008 (see photo) from the start. I thought it would be too big and instead went with the R Series intake TFS-51511005. I regret that decision and will be upgrading to the Box R Series in the future.

Your combination with the supercharger will flow more air than mine and will work well with the Box R Series with a 90mm TB. Otherwise you'll be leaving A LOT of horsepower on the table.

Take a look at my build list - Progress Thread - 12th Owner: My '93 Notchback Restoration & Performance Build | Page 26 | Mustang Forums at StangNet https://share.google/DrGzeA9IRPc08f8C8

My car made 400 rwhp on the current combination and has good drivability. I suspect I will pick up at least 15 more horsepower after I swap from the R Series w/90mm TB to the Box R Series.

Way more clearance with these valve covers. Even the stock throttle bracket clears (with the 1" spacer). I'll have to figure out what color I want to powder coat them and what to do with the breathers. And if I'm going to run this intake or buy something else. Anybody in the market for a very good condition original Cobra intake?

It's the only one I saw with those two intakes.

Won't find much on revisions from most companies, there advertising and marketing sucks for stuff like that. but that's an old, really old first gen R egr upper with the 2 bolt bosses running threw the throat, the newer non egr ones are a ton better.

I am pretty sure the new TFS R-Series uppers have either a 75mm opening (EGR) or a 90mm opening (non-EGR). Just wanted to point this out in case anyone was thinking that if they needed to go to a bigger throttle body on the on with the 75mm opening you have to deal with the EGR port right below the opening. I ended up selling my 75mm upper and bought a 90mm upper so I ended up with the new design.
