Borla or Magnaflow weldins??? Input needed

everyone does flowmaster weldins...has anyone done some borla or magnaflow weldins? or any other type of muffler weldins that got them good results? I dont have the 600 dollars for the borla or bassani Catback i want, so im just gonna do some weldins for now. I have the paxton novi 1000 kis and it is wayyy choked up. will weld ins releive some of that backpressure or should i get an o/r x pipe? thanks for your help.

I think an X pipe would free up more backpressue than some high flow mufflers would.

i just want something with a deep mellow tone. can anyone reccomend some mufflers? i have heard of some people using the spiral mufflers and stuff like that. keep coming with the info, and opinions.

get the magnaflows,you will like them,i got them because everyone has flowmasters here in st louis,wanted to be different. go to magnaflows website and listen to the sound clips see what you like.

you can get the magnapack system on partshopper right now for less than 400 shipped, if you have that, id go for it.

i have the regular mufflers not the magnapacks,mine are just the stainless one and sound great

i got the magnapacks weld ins...if youre wanting deep and mellow...theyre not for you...borla would probably be more up your alley...mine were louder through the band and kinda raspier w/my OR H....but it sounded awesome dont get me wrong...but if you want deep and mellow, go borla...and an O/R H for deep...X sounds more european..

what borla mufflers do i use and where can i buy them? what would loud mouths sound like welded in?

Quieter- Magnaflow weld ins
Louder- Magnapack weld ins-

Hp will be about the same- get the unpolished stainless, some still call it aluminized- and you will save alot of money over the Borla-

just get the magnaflow catback. you can find it for a little over $300.

If you are dead set on the mufflers as your mod, that is fine.
If I were you, I would go with an off-road midpipe, law permitting in your area.
