BOTTLFED...Taking on a new look (Under the Hood)

I looked on your site and couldn't find any images of the battery kit. So is that a new mod? If so what kit did you use?
Also what do you use to do you polishing?

Car looks great!

I relocated my battery years ago. I just pieced together what I needed, at the time.
As far as polishing, I use several methods depending on the condition of the material being polished. I don't have any tutorials written (or typed). However, go to www. soniccherry.com. There you will find a red convertible 'heap' and several 'write-ups' on his methods. Great write-ups. :D (j/k Davey :p )

jeff - can ya send those pics to me via email? I can't view here and don't wanna wait ;)

Done. ;)

Well....a quick apdate (no pics, though):

I've finished the installation of my aluminum rad. Damn that thing was tight! I had to 'massage' the area behind my drivers side headlight in order for the width to fit. Some of the chrome rad hose had to be snipped (1 1/4") for it to meet up nicely with the outlet on the rad, as the rad is much thicker. The overflow canister has been nicely outfitted with chrome couplings and braided lined, as well as teh coolant lines going to the TB. I have a cutom piece on it's way from the good 'ol US of A and I just received my new floor mats. Yes, new ones. LOL. I didn't like the font used on the first ones, so new ones were reordered and sent. They look killer. So now, I have a daily driver set and a set for the shows. ;):nice: Give me a few days and I should have some more pics up. :canada:

Knock yourself out, Alan. LOL. Be my guest. ;)

Oh, it will be my pleasure! In my rush to beat the clock, I didn't get a chance to shoot a pic with the switches installed, but they look very nice. Part is now at the shipper, headed to the Great White North! Thanks, Jeff.

The engraved "BOTTLFED" is done in the same Mustang font as found in our bumpers. Kinda nice touch, IMO.

:nice:

LOL.....;)

I'm painting mine Calypso green, if I feel the engraving is deep enough. Kinda pumped now, to actually ge tthe thing. the car is coming along well. Send or post some install pics, Davey.:nice:
Again...Nice work Alan.

Heyyyyyyyy that looks familiar ;) BTW Alan - it's in :nice:

Yea, I can see the similarities! :p

Pics? It's not nice to tease...

Again...Nice work Alan.

Thanks, Jeff. I'll pass the compliment on to Mike, who did the CAD work. I handled the CNC setup for milling/engraving.

FYI, the engraving is .007" deep. Not sure if that helps, or simply eyeballing it is going to give you your answer regarding paint. I think it will prove deep enough, but we'll see what you think.

Man, it's looking nice! I love the Calypso green on the pieces like the AC pump and the MSD Box. Nice touch there. I love both your's and Dave's cars, as well as many others on this site. Keep up the good work guys!

Thanks for the compliments, Hissing. It's always flattering getting comments from anybody. Coming from a select few, it seems just that much more, though. There's a bit of work remaining. But, lots of fun getting there. :nice:

Also, I should note that I shot the smooth cow grill, the MSD distributor cap and hold down and shifter bezel with some primer last night in anticipation, I will get to the color by this weekend.
