Well after 11 months of going stangless I jumped back into the Mustang world. I picked up this 1993 LX this past weekend down in NJ. Its got a few mods... Pro 5.0 shifter, Waterboro Fuel Pump, AFPR, and some guages,MSD ignigton and Flowmaster cat back. The exterior is pretty nice, its got a few dings/scratches but the ones that are bad are on places that I planed on replacing anyway such as the rear bumper and the hood. It does have a few problmes such as it needs a new solonoid and it does not like to down shift into third very well and most of the aftermarket guages need to be rewired so they work. It did leak some oil when I got back to ME from NJ, there was a slight puddle under what looked like it was comming from the oil pan area.
Its all no big deal though b/c for next yr I plan on droping in a 347 w/ Ported TW Heads and Intake w/ a matching cam along w/ a TKO 500 Tranny and some good drag suspension and 5 lug converison w/ some nice Chrome deep dish FR500's
This is my 4th stang and my first fox and I think its going to be a blast,despite the cars few issues it has for now I really like it even though I hvae not driven it since I brought it back on sunday. Cant wait to start the whole project. Here are a few pics.
