WOW thats a beautiful build u got going!!!! i noticed the mountain bikes also, i have a pro flex bike called the beast by pro flex not by me lol i haven't used it for a couple years but i gotta get back on it some of the funnest and sickest days of my life downhilling different ski resorts

What do you have planned for the hidden computer? These look kind of cool, they're mini-itx based Car PC, 12V Vehicle Computers, the makers of VoomPC

I have actually orderded one of those. lol. Great minds think alike. I also found a sweet flip out 7" touch screen that I can plug into. It is going to be really exciting to put together. The computer has some cool functions like turning on with the ignition makes it almost too easy. I am planning to have a little touch pad mouse (usb) counter sunk into the cup holder. I will let you know how it works out.

I did assemble the engine myself. I was stepped through it by a professional. I have built engines before but having a professional looking over your shoulder makes you realize how much you suck at doing stuff. Great learning experience. The fuel injection is my specialty so that has been alot of fun. I have a more recent picture of the car now. It is one the ground!

I used to ride a couple guys that went pro with specialized so I ended up becoming friends with the Bearcloth family. (pro specialized team). So they hook me up with pro bike every couple years. The sx trail in the one picture is the exact bike darren bearcloth used to 360 off of a cliff in the specialized sx treail commercial. I think this is the link.

Why not switch to the 02+ dash and put a stationary screen in?

I actually didn't know that the interior was different on 02+. Th could be an option but I think the fold up one would look cooler. I will definetly take a look at that option a bit more before I move forward. As for boot times it could take as long as it wants. I don't have any reason to be concerned for it it taking a time. The car will need to warm up before I start driving it anyway. The main reason for the screen to to display information while driving such as engine parameters and occasionally some gps data.

The "motion" of a screen going in and out, is cool, but that always seems like an aftermarket stereo in my eyes. The 02 or whenever they started using the double din openings look a lot better cause it looks like every other factory radio that has a 6-7" screen. Check out TurboGT on here....he made a thread with his install.

Megasquirt is some cool stuff, but any questions on this set up just let me know. I will pdf some of the schematics so you can get an idea of what exactly is going on.

Just wondering if you could still do the pdf's? I'd love to see how it all works.
