C&L Mass Air kit/True-Flow pipe problems

I recently installed this stuff on my 1996 GT Convertible:

C&L Mass Air Kit
C&L True-Flow pipe
AccuFab 75mm Throttle Body
C&L Upper Plenum

My car has a strut tower brace (I think it is stock, but I'm not sure).

Did anyone else have these problems?

1. The True-Flow pipe does not fit under the strut tower brace. I had to loosen the bolts alot and ended up removing the bolts on the front of the brace and putting a couple of washers under the top bolts to raise it up high enough to clear the pipe.

2. There is nothing to secure the Mass Air Meter/K&N filter to, so it rattles around, especially when I start the car.

Please help!

I have the MAF kit and my filter just sits there as well. It moves a little but I've had it for 2 years without a problem

It is kinda ghetto that it doesn't attach to anything.

Also, I noticed in your sig it says Inlet Pipe (polished). Is it the "True-Flow" pipe? How did you polish it? Do you have any pictures of it?
