Why not? Beacuse you will end up spending SO MUCH more. We all know that projects like that have a way of breaking the bank.

lmao, i know the whole breaking the bank thing but eventually it will be done, hope fully by the end of this school year cuz I think he's a senior But its my DD right now anyway so if I make the money by winter break maybe I can haul ass and get it done then if I have all the parts.

im gonna have little more than that to spend by winter break, plus I think I can do a DIY turbo for under 2k

Go for it.

When I got my first mustang, spring break of soph. year, my plan was to go with a 306 with KB on top. I blew that motor, and my second mustang has a 347 ready for giggle gas.

happens too me every time. i think im going to spend a certian amount and end up doubling or tripleing that.

Will you be welding and bending all the pipes yourself? You will also need a tune, so expect to pay at least $500 for that.

I will have to buy the hotside but I can weld and I plan on just buying a bunch of pre mandrel bent pipes and work w/ what I got. I have been reading over at turbomustangs and I am thinking bout a intercooled t70 with low boost.

Because when you blow it up you will be poor without a turbo mustang lol. I was going to turbo mine and I had it all priced out. Even bending and welding my own tubes the price was just getting to high, and I already have 1 of the turbos.
