Cams are done, new dyno #

Very nice mang! Definatly some INSANE #s for no LTs!!!!!!!!! WOW, im truely impressed. Throw some LTs on there and you will gain around 12-14RWHP....definatly be +300RWHP and should gain ALL of your torque back + a few.

FYI LTs are pretty close to adding cams, in the gains department....im serious, its a BIG difference ALL over the powerband.

I idle at about 750-800.. I have something going on with the a/f at idle though, causes it to hunt sometimes, need to get that worked out. I shift at about 6200 rpms also.

oh and for the record I only picked up 4 lbs of tq from cams! woot

I scan my dyno sheet but it's too big. I need to learn how to make a small scan or I will just email you

I had 265rwhp and 307 torque before as you still see on my sig cause I hav't change my # on my sig.

I JUST HAD MY CAMS INSTALL LIKE FEW DAYS AGO AND GOT DYNO TUNE AGAIN CAUSE NOW I HAVE CAMS.

SO MY NEW # IS
291 RWHP AND 301 TORQUE

I DID LOSS FEW TORQUE BUT I GOT 25 RWHP OFF MY CAMS. GOT IT

Yes i got it dude. And i'll be sure not to get Comp CAMS... i definately dont want them. -6 torque? I'll stick to VTs thanks

first of all it looks like a nice increase in HP :nice:

now for the hijack ;)

numbers like this make me lean more to dropping in a 5.4 when my 4.6 finally wears out (160K miles so far)...it looks like the guys with 5.4 and cams have about the same HP (high 280's low 290's) but a TON more torque, like 360+ foot/pounds...

seems to me, for a car like mine that spends 100% of it's time on the street (well 98% anyway) that the extra torque would be worth the extra weight and little extra hassle of the swap :shrug:
