Can a turbo-wastegate be used on a supercharged car?

I am wanting to bleed off boost at high rpm's....the goal is to use a small pulley, get boost soon, like 8psi @ 3500rpm, then bleed off anything above that all the way up to 6000rpm....can i use a turbo-wastegate to do this by mounting it on the supercharger discharge tube..instead of the exhaust like on a turbo...and just vent the excess boost to the atmosphere....off course ill use a blow through maf....has anyone tried this or heard of doing it??

Ummm, no lol. The wastegate sits on the exhaust side of the turbo.

Not only would it make you run super rich, but inorder to get very early boost, you'll need a pretty small pulley, which will probably overspin your blower. If you want boost much quicker, get a Kenne Bell, or small turbo.
