I'll bet you snapped that when it wheel hopped, those cars are notorious for that, they're not real good drag car rearends, but are great handlers, next time try autocrossing.
Since they have the IRS that is a big problem with those cars. If you plan on doing alot of drag racing with it I would put in a solid axel or build up your IRS.
