Can I get 12s?

I am getting ready to pick up a 88 GT 5spd, what do I need to get 12s? Will this combo work? I can't afford to do all the bolt-ons, and heads/cam/intake, so I am thinking about doing the H/C/I after all the support components are in place. Then do H/C/I after my fiance gets her new boobies!!!

12's might be iffy with that setup, i would go with 4.10's, subframes, slicks, along with you mods......and get it as light as possible and then its all up to the driver

With those mods and especially the suspension I don't think you will see 12s! Unless those Eibachs are the drag style?

if you are a good driver, go on a day where the air is just right, track elevation isn't too high, lighten the car up some, have a good tune and run some slicks, it should be close.

look at my times. i've been practicing quite a bit though. air was also decent that day along with being pretty close to sea level.

If you want to see 12's, all you need is some slicks, gears and a decent shot of giggle gas, maby lighten the car up some.

If you want a 12 second car all the time, your going to need some suspension and H/C/I and all supporting components.

It has the potential to go 12s, I went 13.0 with similar mods on stock MAF, stock inj, stock suspension, ET Streets and bad rings... You just cant be afraid to drive the car hard!
