I just recently put 42 lb/hr injectors in my car along with a upr boost tube and 42lb calibration tube(c&l 76mm maf). After that the car started up fine but when i shut it off and started it again it wouldn't start without the gas pedal being pushed to the floor. I was told that this warm start flooding issue was common for a 42 lb equipped car with an fmu to get it tuned and ditch the fmu. which was my plan anyway but my problem now is I messed with the timing hoping that it help the car run a little better when i did the intake started to whistle so i went to adjust the idle and the car died since than i havent been able to get the base idle set. The car just runs rough and crappy. I ve gone through the whole idle checklist probaly 20 times. it s like it wont let me set the idle no matter what i do. any suggestions?

GET IT TUNED.
FMUs are junk (ill get bashed by some for saying this) but your much better off with a tune.
