Car Bogs out when I make left turns

Well my car dies(or idle drops real low) when i turn the wheel left or right while sitting still. So should i clean the IAC?

Try turning the wheel to left in the driveway at idle. does it stall then? If not the IAC is not the problem. If you cant reproduce it sitting still, it would seem to point towards inertia. That means fuel pickup in my mind. Did you try filling it up? that was a good suggestion too. Maybe inertia switch in the trunk, thats another thing you could bypass and rule out. I have seen them act up in fords. It has a reset button and is supposed to cut fuel pump power in an accident. Check your manual for location, you can bypass it with some wire and terminals stuck in the connector. Replace it if its bad, dont leave it that way.

ok you guys are confusing me is the IAB and the IAC the same things if i recall the IAC (idle air control) is next to the TB too, but then one of you said the IAB is next to the TB too, so what am i supposed to be cleaning off?

sounds like a good idea. might pick up a new IAC gasket in case yours has seen better days. good luck.

IAB and IAC are the same thing. Idle Air Bypass, Idle Air Contol.

I don't think this would ever hurt you, as long as no damage is done in the process. As to it being the actual cause, no way to really tell for certain right now. Sounds like a good idea to me though.

It could also be something like the idle being set too low as well. That's something else that's easy to fix.
