driving to class and i smell burning plastic, i then start to see smoke coming from my middle vents above my heat console. i take out the Control module for the heat (or whatever its called i can't think about the name for it at the moment) and the plug for the fan (lo hi etc) was extremely hot and a bit melted....i always here fords suck electric wise this one of those moments?

i would check the heater/air conditioning blower it may be seized up and/or brushes may be gone..you can disconnect the blower and connect it to 12 v. and see if it rotates....
