Changed the plugs (Bosch Platinum 4+), fuel filter and cleaned the K/N filter, now the damn thing surges and bucks. It does it mostly if I'm going like 25-30mph and lightly on the gas (have to go that slow on post) and when on the highway and let up it surges and jumps too. Almost like it's starving itself of fuel. What's going on? Anyone got a clue............

did you let the k&n dry before you put it back on?

if you didn't... it's your MAF, i guarantee it. that liquid cleaner from k&n will get on your maf & jack it up if you don't let it dry for quite a while

That's what Advance recommended. I dont think its the MAF. I let it dry real good for a few hours. I checked to see if it has any codes even though the light isn't on and there are no codes. Didnt mess up the fuel filter. Arrow points towards the front of the vehicle. Any more ideas, I am really dumbfounded and getting P***ed off.

MAF

take the filter off & check the inside of the maf, the oil has gotten on it. that or did you wash the engine off with a hose?

take those plugs out and bring them back. they dont run well in the 4.6 motors. just run autolite coppers or the autolite OEM equivilants. and for the love of god stop taking advice from people at Advance Auto Parts. never take advice from parts people. they are told to always upsell to platnium plugs.

I let my K&N dry for a couple of days. If you oil it while the cotton is still wet the oils traps the water in the media and restricts flow. I keep a paper filter around to use for cleaning days. I only use electric contact clener to clean my MAF since it leaves no residue. Carb clean and brake clean leave residue no matter what the can says. Oh, and get those damn Bocsh plugs outta there like the other guys say. They aint worth a rat's ass.
