Car starts but dies after 30 seconds

I have an 87 fox hatchback 5.0 i did the mass air conversion and now having problems i checked idle air control and throttle position sensor the kit i got was off an 89 stick car with a9l ecu but i used my ecu off a 93 mass air gt could that be my problem Im new to this and trying to do this all myself for once and im getting frustrated

tried that if i give it gas it wont shut off i can drive it but it will stall if i come to a complete stop and when i start it the idle goes up high to 2000 then stalls someone told me about some wires i have to run under the car vss i think something about cruise control myother car i had engine was cruise controlled this one is not
