Car won't pass out of provice inspection

I have a 1990 lx 5.0l with 165,000kms but due to it being a Manitoba Car, the underside of my car is rusted beyond repair. It's going to cost about $4000 to fix it temporarily. This means I'm getting a new car, quite possibly an 06 GT.

So what would you do?

Do I attempt to trade it in, maybe getting $1000 for it?

Do I try to sell it to someone who wants the interior / drivetrain? The drivetrain is in very good condition.

Honestly I haven't looked far into how much I could get for it. I assume I could get more for it if I parted it out but I don't have to the time to do it. It has a black interior, headers, pullies (I believe), offroad pipe, and 3.73's.

What do you think it would be worth?

Replacement floorpans are available for way less than $4000. Even with labour it should be alot less than that.($1500 or so)

unfortunatly the frame is actually rusted quite bad, so is the k-member.
