Yeah BUT are you going to be brave enough to drive that pretty CObra to Carlisle LOL?

I'll be there but i gotta drive back and fourth both nights

I really want to get there this year, bad part is not in the II. Still at the body shop to get finished up, then I have to wait for the classic app to go thru before I'm finally legal :(. That means I'll have to come in the POS Saturn, and drool over any of the II's that make it :D

If anybody needs a ride down this Philly way, i might be able to help. No, I'm not taking the cobra this year. I'm getting the seats done and probably won't be done by then. Still not sure if I want to drive it that far yet. I think I've only put 150 miles on it since I bought it 2 years ago.

I'm still learning about the car. I was under the car last night and found a nice surprise.....it has the ORIGINAL exhaust system. I swear to (you know who) its true. I was under there and the bolts to remove the seats were by the cat converter...one was just above it. The cat cover cover looked original so i continued down the rest of the pipes to see how things were doing and sure enough, this time i seen the FORD stamp on the resonator and what looked to be the same on the muffler, just not as pronounced. I knew the car didn't have many miles on it but even I was shocked.

I don't like the single exhaust crap with the "Y" and cat but I have second thoughts about changing it. There was surface rust on the pipes but the resonator and cat are in great shape. Sure made my day. :D

oh, if anyone is going and want to meet somewhere, and especially you Brian, Tim and I can meet you guys at the food stands outside the main show building at a specific time in the morning inside the show.

Let me know what you guys want to do.

OK, my husband and I are new to all this stuff. When is the show and I'm assuming Carlise, PA? My husband grew up in State College. (I noticed some Altoona residents in the posts.) Also, do they sell, trade, etc. at these types of shows? We're from VA but might be interested in driving up.

Its the greatest show there is!!!!! Tim (Cobraii351) on here got me started last year. its like having an all weekend ebay!!!!!!!!!! Tim is an expert on these cars and I walk with him and he tells me what is correct for my year car and what is not. he also enjoys tell vendors where they can go concerning the prices! I love watching that too. :D sometimes some of us gets lost...hmmm...Brian.. :p ...anyway, we get together and have a great time! I wouldn't miss it for the world! :spot:

some ufortunate news

Well Gang, I just got e-mail from Steve and Mary Tonkin, they cannot make it this year with there 2 beautiful kings. Dave Wilson has said he can't make it either. We need cars, We need at least 10 cars to keep our Mustag II class for next year. If you got one running, and driving, bring it!

oh no, tell me its not so. are they the kings that were on the end last year? a red one? are you serious about the 10 cars???? i've got a 6 month old now and i don't know how i would be able to work it out. My wife will refuse to drive 5 hours. :nonono:

dam. sure is tempting though. do they give trophies for each class? :(

Yeah, hey had the nice red king on the end. I guess that had like 5 tings to do that weekend and not going to make it. Yes, the 10 ar thing is for real From what I understand some II owners really pushed hard for the 74-78 class and were granted one as long as we could pull in 10 cars. well 4 for sure will be missing. They give out 3 trophies per class yes. Just loookat it this way....LO....you cn ge a babyseat into a II :rlaugh:

I would be there if the body shop guy wouldn't have put my 750$ deposit up his nose in the form of white powder! I have the car and paint back but no $ back, and I doubt I'll ever see that. So needless to say the car isn't finished like it was supposed to be.
