I've been looking for a set of PI heads. I've found a couple but the casting numbers differ from each other. I've seen some that were 1l2e, xl3e, 4l3something. What exactly are the differences? Is one better than the other? I have a 98 gt with a romeo which I believe is a 11 bolt valve cover. Does that mean I should buy pi romeo heads? Maybe someone could guide me in the right direction. I found a set on ebay that are 1L2E castings but have no clue what is better than the other.

Thanks
Bill

there are many, many casting #'s for the PI heads, you'll want ones that are Romeo 11 bolt holes on the cover but only 9 bolt holes in the head(2 bolts go into the frt chain cvr) stay away from "XL3E" as ther going tobe windsor, now the "1L2E" will be fine but there are more stamp #'s out there and if your still in doubt give me a call at the # below in my sig
