Taking Sawman's advice, I'll move on to more important things.
I'm thinking about putting a Flowmaster, let's say American Thunder catback on my 01 to go with my catted Bassani X.
Any opinions on this setup? Anyway ever heard a Cobra with that?

That's exactly my set-up . My Flowmasters are American Thunder (2 Chambers) and they are far from raspy , right CobraG (if you already have your Bassanis installed) !?

Anyways , everybody loves the sound ; especially me ! Classic American Muscle Car with the Flows (and the best flow on the market for the X)

That's what I'm looking for on my Cobra, more of an American muscle car sound. I have the catted Bassani X and an FRPP catback lined up, it's just a matter of going and getting it.
But I'm thinking about trading/selling the FRPP catback for or buying an American Thunder catback.

On my 00 GT I had that I traded for this Cobra I had a catted Bassani X and MagnaFlow mufflers, sounded good, but not deep enough for me.
The Bassani really woke that GT up, great midpipe

Get the Flows in the 2 chambered 'cause they are the deepest in the series ... trust me ; when I picked her up she was set-up with turn-downs just 3 inches aft the cat-back !

Woe what a thunder ... a la NASCAR ! ... MAN .... it would set-off car alarms and everybody freaked where I worked .. it was intoxicating !!!

Luckily it came with the tail pipes in the trunk (and to boot another set of Bassani Off-Road pipes !) ; cause here in Montreal the turn-downs were illegal ............ what a deal I got with this car !

She still is loud , and at exactly 2000 rpm she is the bass'iest (sometimes it gets to me) I would not of been able to daily drive it with the turn-downs though !
