Cervini's Eleanor Magnaflow Sideexiting exhaust installed!

Sound inside is great... I'm going to get a video of that too, but probably no more vids till spring, or a really nice day. Ground clearance has been reduced. After installing this, the idea of lowering it any has deminshed, seeing as this is a spring/summer/fall daily driver. I may lower the rear an inch or so, but I dunno. The only place I've really had problems is my driveway, but my driveway is pretty steep. It's getting fixed in a few weeks.

I'm not sure if they're magnapacks, or not... The box didn't say Magnapack on it. Here's a couple of shots, hope it helps. Actually, if you're able to tell, let me know lol. I've been wondering myself. The 1st one is kinda blurry.. my girlfriend does not take good pics in the garage.

I'm buying that exhaust hands down:Word: That's the best sounding 05 exhaust I've ever heard and I've heard them all!!!!:nice: It's side exhaust which ups the "cool factor" a hundred times. I think having a ducktail and side skirts the whole package is gonna be sweet. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

I can't wait to get the x pipe... then she'll really wake up.. No check engine light here... When I got my tune, I told them that I was getting this system. They included that in the tune. I informed them that I was not putting the catback on for a few months, and they said not to worry, as catbacks don't really do much for the tune. So I didn't throw any codes before, or after. It definitely sounds awesome, however, I need to get some better vids. Maybe Saturday. Supposed to get up to 40.. woohoo.

Sweet! Man, how do you not spend every moment of every day stepping out to look at your car?!?

Looks like you've still got the OE rear end - must be killing you to have those exhaust exits still there, with no pipes! I hope you get that thing finished as quickly as you'd like to - it's going to be a work of art! Truly worthy of

I'm sorry I can't stop watching your daytime video its just so cool:D About a quarter through the vid when the rpms settle down to idle that thing sounds like a beast. I can't wait to hear it with an x-pipe. From where your standing with the camera how loud is the exhaust it sounds much louder than stock? How far would you say you were from the car?

Yup, still got the OE bumper. It's definitely killing me. But when I look at the sides, it's worth it :nice: I just gotta get this stupid motorhome sold.. ugh.. crappy investment. The grill came yesterday for the body kit, so I everything for it now!

Not sure what x-pipe I'm getting. Anyone have any suggestions?

That video was about 8-10 feet from the car. It's definitely alot louder than stock, no question about that. People actually hear it now! And it's awesome, because with the windows up, it's not that loud. I mean, you hear it, but you can still talk or listen to the radio. But then you roll down the windows, and that sweet sound is right in your ears. It still needs to be louder, of course, and that's where the x pipe comes in. It's no SLP Loudmouth. But an amazing improvement.

Tell me about it, I hate my stock exhaust no one can hear me comin. You may have to trim the x-pipe a little to get it to fit. It seems like a smaller space in between the mufflers and the cats

What holds the tailpipes where they come out at the sides? I see a bolt holding the bend before the pipe wraps around to the side. I'm just curious cause I looked at my car and can't see where it would attach.

No, the pipes actually go inside of each other, that's why. I'm sure an aftermarket x pipe will bolt right up. just a pita, I'd probably have to pull the whole catback off.

There's 2 threaded holes under your car. I dunno why they're already there, but there's 2 on each side. And they give you l brackets to attach to the holes, then those brackets attach to the catback. The one by the side attaches right behind the side skirt.

Nope, have not burnt myself. The tips don't get hot.

I was thinking about how the body panels might develope paint problems. The side skirts for instance are just attached with double sided tape and screws. To me, placing these panels on top of existing paint will produce bubbles in your paint when water gets between the panel and the paint. Am I wrong with my thinking or are the panels sealed against the body to prevent this. The reason I'm asking is because I'd like to get the side exhaust kit. Anyone have any thoughts?
