oh ok. thanks im going to check that when i get back home and take off the center console. thats might be the problem cause when i turn the temp knob to heat the knob turns back the other way a little bit. where can i get replacement plastic and cable? and can i get it from a four banger cause there are plenty in the junkyard.

yep its all the same. if you are saying its kinda binding the cable might be sticking causing it to turn back some and not open the blend door.
