Check out these dyno #s and let me know what you think. You can see the mods that I have on the car as they are listed in my sig. The car is a 93 GT vert AOD. These numbers are from a Mustang Dyno
269hp @ 3500 RPM
339tq @ 4500 RPM

When I first saw these #s I was completely shocked. The last time that I dyned it was 202hp/271tq and that was on a Dynojet. The only difference between then and now is the ported GT40 intake, EGR delete and off road X-pipe.

The only thing that I can think of is that they Mustang latest dyno #s aren't SAE. It was a beautiful day out around 65 degrees and low humidity, a rare day in FL. So I know that helps but that just seems like a big leap. And on a Mustang Dyno which usually reads less than a Dynojet.

Here is a link to the dyno sheet.
Its the sheet on the bottom left corner http://www.perfectionperformance.com/dynoday/dynoslips.html

nice numbers, seems kinda high for stock unported heads though.

That was kinda my thoughts. Not that I am unhappy with them or anything. I do have a set of slightly ported GT 40ps that I am gonna put on in the near future. We'll see what happens then.

Much too big a jump for the mods done. Problem is, if one is wrong (or both) how can you tell?

I know what you mean. I would have like to have had it done on the same dyno as the first but that shop isn't around anymore so that is out of the question. I am leaning towards something being wrong with the second dyno cause those numbers just seem real high for the mods that I have done to the car.

I will probably have the car dynoed again and put the p heads on and then do another dyno and see where it is at.

I would have sent you a copy of the dyno sheets except for the large difference in numbers made me think something was wrong with one or both.
