Cleaning & putting away parts.

since i did the head and cam swap from my cobra, i would like to clean up and storage the original cobra heads and cam. was wondering if anyone had any tips on products etc.. to clean up the old parts. and any thing that should be done to them, like should they be coated with something, since they will be put away for a long time?

I use WD40 inside all the ports then use a cheapo brush and hit them all around with clean oil.... heads will oxize real quick if not protected, go back in 6 months with no oil on em and youll be amazed, and be pissed... It would be worthwhile to compress the valves and get some oil in valve guides and seats to...even brush some axle grease around the seats then close em...
I douch em down and wrap in a old towel, duct tape em closed...

Theyll weather just fine..
