Clutch is really stiff

Is it normal that my clutch pedal is so stiff, heck if my g/f drives the car when she press on it she doesnt touch the damn seat anymore. also i was curious if the pedal are supposed to be at that much height diff the clutch is the highest then the break then the gas is real low

any info would be appreciated

My is also really stiff, I think thats just how mustangs are.

then i guess they are just pretty stiff, but what about the pedal heights?

Mine was very stiff until I had the clutch and cable changed out, I suspect the cable made the difference as my new clutch (King Cobra) is reputed to be heavier than the stock one.

I drove my sister's Eclipse and the clutch was so light. Then I realized it's a lot slower.
She doens't like driving my car because of the stiff clutch and power.
