Code 314??

According to my book - (Cars ONLY)Thermactor air system/fault during engine run self test/ Left Side.

I had no idea what this is, does anybody?

Could this be the cause of my problems??

Thermactor is the smog pump. It's an emissions item.

I've always had thermactor codes, even though my smog stuff is intact. It hasn't affected how the car runs at all, and I still passed emissions.
