I have the MSD Blaster 2 and it works great. You can't go wrong with either choice and they cost about the same.

Happy Birthday kid!

Thanks man, I wound up going with the blaster 2, Checker had #8202 which MSD says only works with OEM electronic ignitions. Moral of the story my car wont fire up with the new coil, only stumble. Which blaster 2 should I be running? The one msd recommends for MSD ignitions and points igntions? I am running the Petronix ignition if that helps.

well, if you have the PErtronix, you no longer have points. That doesnt really answer your question, sorry. Guess it was pointless.
