Car spends a few months in the garage and comes out looking like new. Cost $20,000

Had the bumper trim refurbished. They look awesome.

Now my steering is pulling to the right. The only thing I can see that is bad is the stabilizer bar bushings. Ordered some from Rockauto. Guess I will need to do some more wrenching before the fall.
Went fishing...again.

No. I had them pull them off when it got painted. Then brought them to a polishing guy WAY out in the sticks. Took about a month to get them back and some serious $. But they are perfect. And Stainless. Who would have thought that?

Went out to see Phil and picked up some new stabilizer links and the rubber bushings yesterday.
Taking a que from @LILCBRA I got my lazy ass out in the garage and pulled the stabilizer bar and the struts out today despite the heat.
Tomorrow if I can get the motivation I'll clean up the parts and paint them. Then get it all put back together over the weekend.

Cleaned the parts and painted them. Humidity is so high they won't dry. Some are still hanging from the tree.

It was Hot and I found a shady spot on the deck and used a wire brush and course sandpaper strips and worked on the parts all day. Lots of water consumed. Now Lot Of Beer!

I was thinking of putting everything back together but didn't really discover what was causing it to pull to the right.
What do you think it may be?
I replaced the ball joints around 1990. The car for the most part just sat in the garage after that.
The upper and lower control arms look good.

Ball joints usually only cause a pull if they are really loose. Have you checked them for play? How about tie rods? I have put more inner tie rods on II's then outers. The Mach I has the right control arm shoved back. They just bolt tight and if not tight enough can shift. Are the lower control arm bushings okay? I replaced them on Christine, had it aligned. I was getting a noise from that side and tightened the right side. It needs another alignment.

If you cannot find anything try swapping tires from right front to left front. Tires can occasionally cause a pull. Have you checked the rear end? Rear brakes can cause a pull. If one side is adjusted too tight or there is a fluid leak.

Did it have an alignment after the restoration? Did they pull anything off the front or rear suspension?

Thanks IICrew. It was all fine until a week ago. Tires are new and good. Control arms appear to be good. Rear brakes are fine. I'm working on removing a broken bolt from the stabilizer bar. Then I'll try to get into it more.

Got the busted bolt out.
Just before it started to pull I could hear a click at slow speeds. I'm hard of hearing and it could have been loud. Sounded like a rock stuck in the tread on the right side.
