compleating the project

I have a few questions, as we speak my new engine is being installed into my stang so I would like to put a few extra goodies on it, so I have a few questions
My set up is a ford GT40 crate engine with an E 303 cam and aluminum heads rated at 340hp. I want to get as close to that 340hp as possible so what will I need?
1. I have edilbrock shorties for headers I want to know if long tubes....
a) will give a power increase that will be worth buying them
b) will be the right part to go with the engine and the LX convertable Aod I have (I plan on gettin 3.73's) in other words will the power range be right.
c) Are they even smog legal in California, I know I'll need a short H-pipe with cats but I've heard they are not legal, period.
d) will they fit good, I have my eye on BBK because Bassani's are way to expensive, but I'm open to others.
2. exhaust
What brand h or x pipe is best , I already have Borla mufflers
3. Intake
what intake will give the best performace for the price and will go best with my set up , Trick flow street seems good and it's only $400 but i had my eye on that BBK piece someone posted a few months back, but I havn't heard anything more about it. Also, is anything bigger then a 70mm throttle body overkill? I know my engine is just a mild set up.
I know I will need new injectors and other miscelianias  (spell check), but right now I just want info on the big stuff, My goal is mid 13's after driving a nearly stock aod with stock gears this will feel like the God Damn speed of light!!
Thank you for your time. I appreciate it

I have a mild set up to long tubes will give u more top end , i have a victor jr lower and an efi spyder upper its all set up for top dont get me wrong it has out of the hole speed but it jets like a bastard when i get up in range, up to u man if u want low end or high- as for H pipe and exhaust ive had mac longs and H pipe on all the stangs ive owned never treated me bad, plus if u go long headers and short intake a power adder is screaming ur name

1.I believe that long tubes dont fit with an aod but i could be wrong.
2.Catted or off road? If its o/r than anyone will work.
3.Cant go wrong with trick flow or edelbrock imo
BTW 70mm tb is plenty for you, no need for anything bigger unless you have forced induction. I think if you do some suspension work and get dr's you should see 12's with ease
