Complete suspension set up opinions.

Me and my dad are going to fabricate some torque box re-enforcements. No prob. there.

I already have a set of slicks that i run on my personal car and were going to use them, they're brand new, never been ran and are mounted on a set of draglites.

Nice, then i would say, LCA's, any $100 aluminum uppers, strange adjustable shocks and struts, and eibach drag launch springs, caster camber plates, and you should be set, after that id go to the drivetrain and do like a 31 spline ,or 33 spline if you plans for alot more power, differential and axles. Im kind of at a doubt that your going to hit 12's with the stock motor but id love to see you prove me wrong.

I have lakewood 50/50 rear, 90/10's front, no sway bar in front, stock in the rear, jegster traction bars, pro 3i uppers, laurel mountain drag springs, and the adj. airbag. Combined with drag radials, a 4pt. max motorsports cage and subframes, it hooks ALOT better than stock on the street. I'm building the motor now and haven't tested it at the track, but it's a great setup for under like, $2000 or so...Don't remember prices. If you can weld the cage it will be better than a bolt-in unit.

Oh and battle boxes (very important.) and reinforced upper arm mounts. Good stuff. Over all I'm very happy, but I do want to change to adj. uppers so I can tune in my pinion angle.....Get a pinion angle gauge.....

Hey stangboy, let me know when you are going down to commerce to race, who knows maybe we can meet up and see each others cars. I like the idea by the way, I now wish i would have went with suspension first, but I took the other rought. Alot of horsepower and torque with no suspension and spinning everywhere. Oh and one more thing have you ever though about going to wareshoals dragway? A good bit of mustangs come down there sometimes.

Yea i've went to Ware Shoals a good bit. My buddy (coe-worker) Joe Cothran lives down near there so does my grandma, she live in Laurens. Ive been to Ware Shoals quiet a bit, but not with my car. I usually go to Greer because its closer. Arn't they both 1/8's, i know Greer is, can't remember if Ware Shoals is. Only reason i go to Commerce is because its a 1/4.

But, the car me and Kyle are building right now isn't for racing. After we get it as fast as possible on just suspension. Well probably sell it or something. Make back what we spent. Its just something to tinker on for now. My personal stang is about as far as i want to take it just for an everyday driver. 12.3 is as fast as its went in Commerce. That was with a 1.8ish average sixty after 3 runs, so i have some room to improve on that. Right now im trying to take it easy on it (stock T-5) already went through one, dont want to do it again.

Thanks for all the replies...keep em coming...
