I believe the linkage is different, but it's probably the computer.

oh...well in that case, sure the pedals will fit.
the only major differences between 2.3 and 5.0 lx cars are:
engine (obviously)
transmission
driveshaft
rear end
transmission crossmember
cooling fan
computer
engine harness
shifter (if automatic)
and of course a 5.0 might come with a higher trim level, but not always

Front V8 brakes are 11"
Front 4cyl brakes are 10"
Springs are different
Suspension is the same as far as i know
5.0's have a pinion snubber and axle weight
Rear brakes are the same although some cars may have finned drums and some may not.
Also wheels are different too (duh lol)

radiator as well . I consider it major when you realize the 4 cylinder rad isn't large enough to cool the 5.0.

this is true...
although advance auto parts lists the same rad for both 2.3 and 5.0
as long as neither has "extra cooling"
