Concussions suck!

Okay, here's a question for you who have been near death. Have you ever seen the light at the end of the tunnel? I have.

When I was 15, I was hardcore into skateboarding. One time, I ventured onto a halfpipe with no pads, in the rain (I know, stupid, but skateboarders have never been know for their great intelligence, lol). Needless to say, I wiped out HARD. I was unconscious for 30 minutes, then in and out for the next 4 or 5 hours. The only thing I remember is sirens on the ride to the hospital, then an incredibly bright light shining in my face. It kept getting closer and brighter. I asked my brother the next day if they were checking my pupils in the ambulance. He said no they checked them at the skatepark. I KNOW I was in the ambulance when I saw the lights, because I remember the sirens. That light stuff is scary as crap!

i had a good one once. i was at the bmx track with my bike, friends tell me my chain snapped when im approaching the first jump, and i lunge forward, over my bars and smack my head into the jump. This dirt is solid as concrete too. so the next thing i remember, im sitting at home my kitchen table. friends tell me i got up right after the crash, and was walking around and stuff. My dad had to come pick me up, and i didnt remember any part of the 30 min ride home. turns out i asked what happened almost 30 times. it was odd ****, im surprised my lights never went out, yet i cant remember a good hour of it.
Yeah thats nuts, this is actually my second mustang. My first one was a Red 95 GT that i got when i was 16 i was a dumb as and spun out and broad sided a tree on my way to school around 7am. The first part of that day i remember was around 6pm when i woke up on my couch. I dont remember the whole hospital trip in the ambulance the 4hr hospital stay, or even coming home. Aparently i was awake and i also asked what happened like every 5 mins. Crazy what the brain does when its messed up.

I got in a ridiculous car accident a few years ago, I won't get too far into it, but long story short, we flipped 23 times down a highway and crushed a car to a point where it was half the original size. I remember crawling out the window and spitting out my rear teeth, pulling the driver from the car and laying him away from the wreck

After that, I remember sitting on the side of the road talking to some lady in a pediatric's uniform while spitting out parts of my teeth mixed with blood, then the ambulance drivers coming to get me.

When I came back into full conscience a few hours later, I asked about where this lady was and if she'd come to the hospital. They told me there was no pediatrician there..

I was a ****in mess. I don't know if I saw something completely different or if I saw something miraculous, but she sure was a comfort when I was sitting there.

It could have been the lights in the back of the ambulance. They are bright and your vision was probably going in and out of focus making you think it was getting closer.

Man next time your in austin i'm going to give you an old hockey helment of mine that you have to wear 24/7.

I just remember from not another teen movie the guy who had the countdown till he dies from head injuries. I know it was a rip off from varisty blues.
