Considering wheel swa! 17" rim and tire questions

Well i have someone wanting to trade for my saleen wheels which are 18x10, 18x9........


They have 17x9&10.5 fr500's with the polished lip and silver center.... How wide of a tire can i fit on it........is 225 the biggest.... i need the added traction now, so what is the biggest drag radial..... was gonna search but kinda need quick info...

you could fit 275's on the front, and 315's on the back with the fr500's
