Well Iv'e logged a couple driving hours now with my boosted 90 mustang. (V3 Si tuner kit) All I can say is WOW what a difference 9#s of boost and 461 rwhp makes. GEEZ! At this time I cant get into boost in 1st or 2nd gear. Way to sketchy. "Almost" lost it 1 time and that's the last time till I get some capable tires. Half throttle at 3k rpm in 2nd gear (forget about 1st gear) and I'm sideways. (3.55 gears) 3rd
gear and I can tell it wants to break the tires loose. I am thinking I need some suspension upgrades to.. this car is VIOLENT!

AND I LOVE IT...

Does that make me weird?!@

Wait till you ride in a turbo fox. It will all go downhill from there. Lol

@Detroiit ..

I hate you.

Know after spending over 2k on my top end and other parts, I have the bug to slap a Vortech on it. My last fox body vert had an S Trim and was around 430 rwhp. Now I'm sitting here with around 280rwhp and bored after a month. Wonder why I went with 30# injectors......

My wife is gonna kill me. I told her two years ago I was keeping this one stock...

You know that is the one thing I truly enjoy post-divorce. I have a good job make decent money and I buy what I want, when I want and how much I want.

Now let me also say I am not advocating divorce just pointing out a silver lining.

Stupid turbo car - check
Stupid lifted built 4x4 - check
House with a garage AND a shop (with only MY in it) - check
10000 lb 2 post lift in the shop - check

And all my friends ask me why I am not in a serious relationship 7 years post divorce, meh , I'm just fine.

Oh and I am strongly considering buying a motorcycle now.

I always say"sometimes you have to give your lady a reason to complain. That is there purpose in life" so instead of her bit@:;!n about the laundry or football give her a real reason and love every minute of it.

My wife and I both had bikes when we got married. I'd tuck my tie in my shirt and she somehow figured out how to shift her CBR with heels on. It was kinda funny when we left for work in the mornings.

She doesn't like me blowing money on cars and we no longer have bikes but she loves my S/C Mustang. My biggest problem is her bugging me to drive it.

If you got $2k for a used one, you're better off just saving another $800 and buying it brand new.

Like I said I am not anti marriage or pro divorce, simply stating how there is life after divorce ( I was married for 14 years )

Anyhow, back to the thread. Boost is fun, cheap boost may be the most fun per psi.

I guess it all depends on how you make out after the divorce? The freedom thing is great, but I've got buddies who haven't a pot to piss in after paying out their spousal and child support payments every month. Whomever it was that said it's a man's world has never gone up against a vindictive ex wife in court before.

So basically, you should marry a woman who makes more money than you or don't ever get divorced, lol.

I won't tell all the details, but I will say that what I pay per month to my ex for "support" is enough to pay her monthly rent payment. Not sure I agree that qualifies as "support". More like a "handout" which is what the world has come to. 6 1/2 more years to go, then I can buy a new Mustang. Can't even imagine what the next gen stang will be
