https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/269636924290321/ Asking $6000

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/349373276223467/ Asking $500

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/309352787049307/ Asking $950

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/743882626442088/ Asking $2500

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1414985785559888/ Asking $3500

Those 2 that are under a grand might not be a bad project for someone looking. But I think those that they're asking more than a grand seem to think they're sitting on a gold mine or something...….

Maybe.... I dunno what it's like going through that ordeal in Texas, but here in Georgia they just look up the VIN to see if it was reported stolen and call it a day. I believe the cutoff is 30 years, beyond that a title isn't required.

It looks like it could be pretty solid from the few pics they provided. I'd consider it if I was in the market and hope that the title could be used as a bargaining tool....

In Texas it has to go through a bonded title process. You don't end up with a clear title for a few years. The good news is, that as low as that car's presumptive value would be with the State of Texas, a bond should be all of about $100 or so. The bad news is, if someone else shows up in the timeframe for which the title is bonded and has some proof as to ownership of the vehicle, you're out either the vehicle or responsible for repaying the bond.

It's why very few people are willing to mess with it here, and why Craigslist is over-run with sub-$1000 running and driving vehicles with no titles here.

https://knoxville.craigslist.org/cto/d/new-tazewell-mustang-ii/7204030795.html (If I didn't have this stupid virus, and had the money, this would be ElSuperPinto's replacement.)

https://gadsden.craigslist.org/cto/d/gadsden-1976-mustang-stallion/7196134587.html (This one's still for sale... one of the best-looking CL IIs in years, and the only Stallion I've seen for sale in a long time.)

https://madison.craigslist.org/cto/d/madison-1975-mustang-ii-ghia-v8/7201662978.html (Nice little Ghia.)

https://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/d/cleveland-1978-mustang-ii/7197713059.html (This one could be a bargain if it's in as good of shape as the seller says it is.)

https://ventura.craigslist.org/cto/d/thousand-oaks-1977-mustang-top/7194388060.html (I'd say it's rough for the money, but it's a T-top V8 car... so...)

https://anchorage.craigslist.org/cto/d/sutton-1977-mustang-ii-ghia/7201759075.html (It's in Alaska... road trip?)

Not going to lie, that red coupe, blue Cobra, and trashed King are all tempting as potential "ElSuperPinto" replacements.

That red coupe would be REAL tempting to me too! With the exception of the drivetrain it's identical to the old coupe that my first ex ran into a tree. And it's near home - I'd road trip up and visit family while I was there! Win-win!

(Only posting new listings today, no repeats, most of the cars from Tuesday are still listed)

Apparently it had a reserve that wasn't met. Still, 12k is pretty good! I wonder what their reserve was, or maybe they weren't interested in actually selling it....

That white Mach 1...... I have a trailer now.....

Seriously though, that one would be on my shortlist if I was in the market! It's everything my Cobra isn't! The only thing it'd need is a new paint job - wouldn't keep it white.

Thanks for putting these on here. Good Saturday afternoon reading and dreaming. They are so nice, but would be expensive to fix up with paint and all. Cant wait for Enzio to finish his.

Here's a kinda rough project over on bookface:

Look at what $800 could get you!! (Most likely a headache....)

Although I will say those floor pans look more solid than mine were.
