Complete 1978 Mustang II 302 V8 Engine & Transmission Assembly Cobra 2 King 1977 | eBay
This is the 302 V-8 with C4 Automatic Transmission. I do not know the miles on it. It was saved for a project that never happened. If you want to swap your Mustang II to a V8, then this has pretty much all you need.

If any of you are looking for V8 swap parts... there's almost ALL of it in a bundle for a hell of a price.

Here is one in north Alabama near Tennessee. It's currently on Ebay. It's a "salt free" V-8 coupe.

This 1978 M II is on auction again. Last night in the description it named the deadbeat bidder (pgoebel2004) but I guess that Ebay may have edited it out. Here is the new link.

I might just have to purchase it myself. I do have a running 1978 302 sitting around. I bet if it was running and driving it would be easier to sell. I don't bump into very many DIYers these days that work on there own stuff or project vehicles. I'll fix it, use it some and then sell it!

Starting to look like more good II's than people looking for them. 2 weeks ago at a car show I saw a Mach I with a 2.8?
I was looking for something in particular on AutoTempest. Didn't find it, but shared what I did.Holy Crap 74S2TG

Have y'all seen many coupes with a fold down rear seat?
My very first II was a Ghia with a fold down rear seat, I've not seen another in person. But then again I've only had 3 coupes, the others were all hatch cars. And, at least in the last few years, all I've seen is hatch cars - no coupes anywhere in person.
Pretty nice looking Cobra in SC for $8900.

That's still $2k for a no-title non-runner with a 4-banger. I wouldn't pay it, but then again, we now live in an era where I've turned down $6k for a II that I paid $3k for and thought I overpaid at the time.Remember that little blue coupe I shared a while back? Yeah - I still think it's overpriced, but they're going in the right direction. And at least this asking price isn't completely outrageous!
