Resource Discussion Craigslist Links

I had a friend in high school who had one. His was always just a tad quicker than my standard coupe for whatever reason. Well, until that engine bit the dust after hitting a parking pylon in the snow and I had a 68 302 installed as a replacement. He ended up winning a round of high school drags one weekend, beating a Grand National at the tree that night. His didn't have the highly desirable hood ornament though.... ;)

I don't have the money, I already have a big project, and I've already got four cars parked at the duplex when I'm only supposed to have two.

If it weren't for that, I'd be tempted.

I can't see anything, the link just takes me to this:

Best guess is the engine is bad going from their listing. But if you're interested, I've registered and looked at other vehicles on the site, from what I've seen you'll end up paying roughly $800 above what you bid. And the site says the vehicles will need to be towed from the lot by a licensed transporter, so I'm not completely sure you could pull up with your own trailer and haul it home. But it'd be a shame to see it go to a scrapyard....

:D

Tell you what - you get it and I'll trade shells. Always wanted a Ttop car. And mine is due for another restore session, so it wouldn't hurt my feelings to have to deal with this one the way it is - it may need everything mine does anyway....

I'd be down for that. Honestly, I prefer a hard-top for what I want to do.
