got a good one. my 91 coupe original 5.0 car. motor is new. it ran for two days then went to fire on third day and now will crank and crank but wont fire. got 42psi on fuel pressure 148psi compression on all 8 cylinders and timing is dead nuts. spark is great but the car just wont fire. ive tried new tfi modules, new distributors, new computers, new ignition coil. i even pulled the computer harness out to check for any bad wires and they all look good. it seems all 8 injectors are firing at the same time when cranking possibly flooding the car immediately. what is going on. can anyone help.

fuel pump and filter are both new, fuel pressure is set at 42. timing is dead nuts. even pulled the passenger side valve cover to check valves are opening and closing at correct time in reference to timing marks on balancer. thanks for the reply can yal keep them coming. just put the computer harness back in and still getting the same problem...any more ideas

Did you pull codes?
Why do you think all the injectors are firing at once? Did you check the plugs to see if they're fouled? Did you use a noid light on some of the injectors?

Good luck.

have hooked up a scanner. no codes that are in association with the no start. just a bunch in history. yes the plugs are fouled although i put new ones in three times already and it does the same new plugs or not. and currently new ones are in. use 8 noid lights on all injectors. pretty sure they are all firing at the same time but its so quick you cant really tell. i do know its flooding it out.

GOD DAMN THIS CAR. im in need of a genious!!!! anything else from anybody. just got word my coworkers pulled a prank. reason it wouldnt start the other day is because they unpluged two of my injectors and switched wires on my cap. and loosened my intake. i figured it was messed with at first but was unsure and just thought something wierd happened. anyways still the same story though. good compression and fuel pressure and great spark. but no start!!!! could something of happened as a result of them screwin with it???? remember timing is dead on and fuel, spark and compression are exact. HELP PLEASE???

Make sure that nothing else was messed with during the prank.

You could have your friends fix your car since they seem to be the ones who caused this whole mess in the first place.
