are any of you road and track car nuts thinking of coming to this event. you can come out and hang out it free. and i belive rides might be givin durring lunch and maybe if luck is on my side i can give some fun rides :~}

I want to hit this. But, I don't want an instructor sitting in the passenger seat all day or at all for that matter. Will CSCC allow us to run with out an instructor?

If it's free to watch, I might come. BTW, I saw you in the BMW today on Witchazel road in Hillsboro. I was pimpin the escape.:nice:

More than three previous track days? Ouch. I've got three from last year -- two Driver Training days with Team Continental, one regular track day with Shelby Club. I do not want to have an instructor the whole day...

Maybe the two certificates from TC carry more weight than just plain OT events.

Eric,

Who can we talk to about this requirement?

Just sent my application off to CSCC

I am there! Been waiting for this. UPS just dropped off my shocks. Gotta change out the pads too. BTW, whats the minimum rotor thickness before they're toast. I'd kinda like to get one more day out of 'em, but I think they may need changing too. Swap front tires, put a bit more camber into it and I'm ready. Will send in my app friday.

im a member of cscc and am an instructor but i do not have my full lisence yet or else i could be one for you guys. if every thing goes right ill also be racing the next day in some race car in not mine to finish my novice requirments.

Right on Steve glad to hear you're going.

The rotor thickness is listed on the inside of the rotor. I don't remember the thickness.

Do they allow passengers? How loose do you think this will be? I don't want an instructor either. The BMW club is 2 weeks after this.
Don't know about the passengers.

Don't know how loose they are. I would imagine they run things similar to TC. Since these clubs concentrate on training they will be more strict. SAAC and BMWP allow riders and aren't as uptight.

I was thinking about doing the BWM track days as well. You need to be a member of a club to run with a club. So I was thinking about joining SAACNW.
