Maybe you need a time out bud.. Chill the f out.. This kid never bothered you and your gonna call him out because he thinks his car is fast. Thats pretty lame if you ask me... Why cant you just leave the kid alone and think what he wants.. Nobody likes a hero. And if you wanna call somebody ill cal you out and race you any day of the week..

im with you grey5.0. he has always been a dick to me about me being 14 and crap. he just don't like us younger kids.

BECAUSE THERE ARE THE FEW OF US OUT THERE WHO HAPPEN TO REALLY LIKE ARE CARS AND THE FACT THAT WERE ALIVE and will not do stupid ****. i have never been in trouble with the law. more then i can say for most of the kids around my age.

i bet he beats his kids :nonono:

so RsStanG1987 i don't like you. you think your better then everyone else. no matter what it is. i say i don't like my car being a V6 you say shut up and stop bitching. someone else post the same thing. you same in time you will get a V8

anyone says there going to race. its always that's stupid to do.

someone post there times from the 1/4 you ALWAYS say. there much room for improvement.

so shut up. and zip it :lock:

some of us on her are just kids. and we will do what we want to. legal like.

From skimming the majority of the posts... why are some people bitching out grey for wanting to call out someone TO THE TRACK?

Seriously, you all need to step back and look at what you're saying... All the power to you grey, don't listen to them.

And for whoever was bashing me about my post where I joked about him gettin into the 12's... STFU.

Here is a guide that I found that these guys had success in throwing a pretty well stocker into the 12's.

Of course not everything will help some cars in particular but there are some interesting ideas here.

don't get too worked up beast. lol i've been in your situation more times then you could even imagine. my highschool was FULL of nothing but pos beater ricers, so yeah man, let him have it. those type of kids ALWAYS need to be knocked down a peg or two.

Thanks for the support, I fall goes well, I will be meeting a buddy w/ a 2000 gt( that sumbitch can drive!!), maybe 79pacecar, gotta talk to him bout it and some other ppl going too. And hopefully I can have new headers, TB, shortbelt, and maybe an allum. driveshaft, should be good for some low 14s, if not high 13s but I won't expect much.

Get some vids of the passes for us too if your buddies got a camera or something :nice:

Did you go for your inspection yet? Get that Xpipe on there

No i haven't had a chance to do it, When my headers get shipped for sure I will swap the stock h back on, take it to get tested and when done swap the o/r h back on along w/ headers if they are here in time. I think I might take off my a/c comp, and smog pump when I am putting the short belt on, A/c has a leak somewhere and I don't need smog for now, and judging by the gains mob got, it will be beneficial.

hmm confusing. Glad I dont have to deal with that emissions testing crap. haha.

Get the FRPP A/C eliminator kit, It was really easy to install, but I had to get a longer hose for my P/S pump because one of them was pretty taught. I have a dead pulley in place of my smog, so I'm running the stock belt for a 5.0 without a/c.

If you dont wanna spend 50 bucks on the FRPP kit just go to a junkyard and find a 5.0 without a/c and you can pull the bracket assembly off. But 5.0's in the junkyard are few and far between around me. If you come by one I wouldn't just take the bracket I'd take the whole motor :D

Remember, pulling the a/c isnt going to give you hp because its operated by a clutch. The only time its drawing on the car is when its engaged. It might help however if the clutch pulley is really tight and doesnt spin well.

yeah but it weighs like 40 lbs. if I jsut take it off, can't I run a short belt no probelm? Same with the smog, its heavy and it draws power and it is pointless, I might be able to registre the car at my sisters house in statesboro, Ga, they don't have emissions there.

Yeah I forgot to mention that I heard it didn't weigh much before I did it, but once I pulled that compressor it was heavy. Same with the condenser and everything else. Im sure you know to watch yourself if its charged.

If you take it off, the PS is too low for the belt to route properly, keep in mind you have to rotate the waterpump the other way, It makes it a pain to devise up ways to route the belt creatively. If you pull the smog you can just run a shorter belt, you dont need anything for that if I recall.

No matter what setup you go with, belt sizes always seem to vary, because some people tell you they are running 71" for example, but they forgot to metion they're running underdrives or something like that. The best thing that I came up with it to get one of those soft measuring tapes that tailors use, you can prolly get one at a fabric store. I just routed that around my pulleys and compensated an inch or two for tension with the tensioner.
