Thanks to some help from some guys on here, and some research, I decided on the MM Chrome-Plated C/C Plates.

MM has them for the "usual" $249 plus $13 S/H.

GTR Performance has them for $236 plus $8.

Anyone know who has them for less, or at least who else carries them, so I can check into it?

Thanks
RC

Thanks Buddy...I feel like Im cheating or something

Can you only get that if you do it online, or can you call and get that price?

Only reason I ask is I dont like online ordering, then giving your CC number then they come back and say "ON BACK ORDER"

Ill give them a buzz tomorrow.

I had put this project on hold because of my leakdown results (wanted to save some $$)

BUT: Since I have a couple of offers for my Steedas, I may as well go ahead and buy the MM's so I can put them on, then turn around and sell the Steedas.

Ill post back tomorrow If I order them and for what price.

Thanks

I saw the Steeda 4 bolts up close the last time I was there and they were real nice. I like polish over chrome.

I saw them too.. I dont like the "rippled" look of them. Paul took his and polished them more finely and they came out nice. I can actually get the MM shipped for a few bucks less. WIth the price of gas, Im prolly saving around $20 If the chrome ones were cheap, I would avoid them, but IM sure the MM ones are of good quality.

The Hotchkis CC plates had more bling IMO so I got them. I was contemplating the MM's for awhile before I bought the Delta Kit.

I had minor surgery and have to stay off my feet for a few days. I think you can guess what surgery it is. I'll be limping for awhile.

Hotchkis is what I'm buying down the road.

Paul mentioned and I heard from a guy locally not to use these because of polyeurethane something or another.

LOL! Everything I've done to my Stang someone has said to me..."I don't think that's a good idea.....???"""
i.e.
1. Stock block won't handle 100 shot n2o
2. 109K is too many miles on a stock block for n2o
3. 140K and an S-Trim 2.95 pulley 14 psi on a stock motor will split it
4. 10 psi with a KB on a stock motor will be bad and you will have problems
5. 21 psi with a turbo on a stock motor will split it
6. T70 is too big a turbo for a stock motor and heads your car won't perform
7. PMS is not a good tuning device.
8. 315 Nittos won't fit on a 17X9 Cobra R rim
9. If you paint your motor pieces with your exterior paint it won't hold
10. If you use that paint on your calipers it will melt and fade
11. Methanol doesn't really help
12. Don't buy the Tremec 3550
13. Don't install a SPEC 3
14. Don't use the Tri-Ax
15. Launching @ or above 4K rpms with slicks, you'll break your stock rear for sure.......

I could go on and on and all I can say is to each his own. Works for some and not for others.
Nothing is hardly permanent on my car so if I get something that doesn't appeal to me later I just simply sell it and move on to the next.
