I got 30 lb injectors with my buildup this summer. Looking at my mods in the sig, did I overdo it, or are these about right?

At some point, I plan to get a dyno tune or tweecer it.

If I did overdo it, any opinions on how much further I can push it on these injectors (stroker/NOS/supercharger/etc).

I think your fine.

They would be ok for a street stroker.

They would be too small for a blower.

I couldn't say about nitrous.

30s are actually the best choice. That way if you add a blower later you can just toss an FMU on it and be ready to go.

30's is a bit too much injector for a 302 with h/c/i (unless you got a high spinner). You will most likely experience a rich idle/surging idle/and hot start issues due to too much cranking fuel upon start-up. You will have a "fatter" a/f ratio as well. I have seen a couple cases where they swapped back to 24lb injectors and gained a minimum gain at the track. Only change. Seen it more than once. Truth to it? I don't know...but it makes sense. A bit leaner overall is a bit more power.

A tune or tuning device will solve or atleast help you...but won't help your wallet.

Good Luck!

yep, 30's are good. the 36's are 100 more, so it's definately the right choice for a good h/c/i combo.

Yeah you will need a tune, but they wont be a problem. I now wish i would have gone 30s cause next summer in building a 347 and i will now need to sell my 24s and get 30s.
