Difference Between Tri-Ax T-5 shifter and 3650

I don't know if they sent me the wrong shifter, but what is the difference between the two shifters? The shifter they sent me was about 1/8 to 1/4" short from what it should be. In 5th and 3rd it slips out of the socket. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks

Is the shifter for the 3650 shorter than the one for the T-5?
