differential fluid capacity for an 8.8 rear end?

the service manual says 64 oz., but DTS told me 80 oz? does anyone know for sure?

Fill it from the fill plug until it starts coming out. Then it's full.

usually 2 bottles, depending how much spillage you get when you fill it up, it can be a PITA to fill it back up

I usually get three bottles IIRC, but it's been a while since I did one with a stock cover. :shrug:

It should take over 2 bottles, so buy 3 litres (or quartz).
