how do i improve my 60'?? becuase i don't have the money for new tires, and if i rev up to about 1.5k thats right before they start to break. the get off the break and on the gas they spin... from a dead stop they spin... do i HAVE to go into the gas, or can i romp it and hope they don't spin... because thats hurting my 60' bad!!

Lower control arms can help your 60 foot times.

I launch off of a powerbrake at the track and cut 2.04 60's

Just torque it up a bit and lay off the brake Don't over power it or you'll spin.

What are some of your reaction times? Learning the light will help also. I was cutting 900 lights for awhile until I figured out to go on the 2nd yellow and dropped my reaction times into the 300's which made quit a bit of difference on the 60' times.

umm tires,, are now at less than half life, because of practice starts for the past 2-3 weeks... the front have about maybe a little more than half i was thinking about swapping them out...

when i became a waiter, i will start to save for the 17'9 and 17'10.5 rims that i want and wrap them in summi's if i can find em. that would be in about probably 2 months

From what I've heard, save a little longer and get something other than Sumitomo's if you are looking for traction.

summie's are the only tire besides DR's that i can find for under $200 a peice in 315... and from what i read they last longer than Dr's!!

ditto. get the weight set properly and run on a flat road and it is very accurate.

I beg to differ. I think he's losing some low end torque with the off-road pipe.

On a heavy automatic convertible, he needs all the low end torque he can get. I didn't see any mention of gears so i assume he's running stock gearing.

He's 60's are too long and it shows they he's just not taking off from a stop well.

Not saying change the o/r pip, but he definitely needs 4.10's or higher for his car.

when i have the time later this week, i have two high flow cats ready to be installed. and i was already planing on gears later down the road, after i pay it off lower it, and rims... so hopfully this summer... if i am lucky
