Went to the track last night and was extremely disappointed. My best time was a 14.5@99mph. How pathetic. I was even hooking up well too. I obviously dont know what I am doing with this tuner because I cant get it to run any better then this.

OH my god, unless you are at a serious elevation something is serisouly wrong with your car. I missed a gear with my current combo and still trapped 104.9mph. I dont even know where to start but 2.3 60ft is not hooking well at all.

Your sixty's need to come down around 1.90- and you mph is wwaaayyy too low for what you have. You need to see a dyno and see what up (fuel maybe)???

Your mph should be much higher for those mods. Something's amiss in the tune.

My stock GTS had a trap speed of 95 mph! Something is WAY out of whack. Your 60' time is the least of your problems.

Do you have a Wide Band to tell what your air fuel ratio is with the Tweecer?

I agree with the other guys, get it on a dyno and see what's up. Unless you have totally given up on the Tweecer, I wouldn't blow the money on a dyno tune.

If you are gonna get the dyno tune though, I may be interested in buying your Tweecer down the line.

Yes I know something is wrong. When this car was stock it ran a 15.0 @ 93 mph. It ran a 13.5@105 last year. I need to see whats up with the A/F. I do have a wideband and it seems to read around 14 but does jump a round a little.

Maybe a help to you would be to output your wb to your pcm egr input.

This would allow you to have your wb data show up in your Tweecer data log as a column of data just as the rest of the data.

You could then load that data in program like Log Analyst, MS Excell, EEC Analyzer, etc to see a bigger picture of your final af ratio.

I put up a thread titled Datalog Screen Shot that shows how you can see so much more with this method. I suspect that most did not see this thread as I put it up just before the site was down for about a day due to all of that bad weather.

I'll go back and find the thread and ttt it so you can take a look.

Later

I found a guy in the tweecer forum that lives about an hour from me. He is gonna take a look at my tune and help me out. Something is obviously wrong but with my luck its probably the engine taking a crap on me.

Found out what the problem was. I bought a compression gauge and tested cylinders. Guess what?? I had a dead cylinder. #8 read zero and all other 7 read 155 psi. Took the cover off and found that when I loosen both rockers I regained my 155 psi. Tightened them down and got 0. Something must be fubar with the lifter. I shimmed up my rocker and still read 155 psi. Took it for a drive and it feels like there is about 80 more horse to this thing.

heck the 60' alone will get you close or maybe into the 13's if you cut like a something in the 1.90's range.
